Upgrade to 3.0

There are over 100 packages, there has to be a better way to upgrade.

This should be done either in console mode or in Gnome environment (no
KDE running while removing it :-)
But I would keep the 2.2.2 RPMs around...
rpm has very complex command-line interface, and RedHat people knowing
that, have put together a little help page:
