I have had a gmail account since gmail was $5 per invite on ebay.
Yes, that long.

I just got rid of it and signed up for proton mail.

That's the only email address I have. This one.

Now I learn that KDE store does not accept GMAIL nor PROTON mail accounts "due to phishing"

Well this is a real user with a real email, and if I'm blacklisted then I'll delete KDE tomorrow there's plenty of other DE's.
