Yes a lot of people are using Wordpress but currently in the active web
contributors, there is nobody who knows how to create a Wordpress theme.

Astra and Elementor are not free as in beer (https://wpastra.com/pricing/
and https://elementor.com/pricing/) and this isn't the theme used everywhere
else in the KDE websites. So this won't solve the problem that someone
needs to develop a theme and maintain it.
