Unable to create kde identity account

Hi,
Sorry if this is not the appropriate place for this, but I'm not sure 
where to go with this problem. I have and account on 
http://bugs.kde.org/ and am trying to create one/register at 
https://identity.kde.org/. I entered my name plus the email address 
(same as used at http://bugs.kde.org/) and all seems ok, but I have yet 
to receive any confirmation email from https://identity.kde.org/. It has 
been many hours, so something must be wrong. I cannot repeat the process 
because now the email address "is in use". I've verified that the email 
has not been filtered as spam/etc. So what can I do ?
