Hi Ranveer,

personally i think that sounds like a great idea. Some suggestions though. 
At the moment the planet is quite different to the look of the other kde 
websites. It is not the only website though. 
There is some progress on improving/renewing the look of kde websites, and you 
preferrably choose a look that is close/similar to that of the others.
The newest discussion about a new look can be seen on 
http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=285&t=123233 (the okular site is only 
used as starting point here)

This is only a suggestion though. You may also want to jump into the 
discussion if you have some feedback, i have added mine already :P

Apart from that, good luck and have fun with the project.
