help needed to retire events.kde.org

Hey folks :)

events.kde.org is pretty horrible and broken right now on top of that.
I think it'd be best if we just retire it and move the valuable thing
to kde.org. This is the events calendar. Unfortunately it is broken
right now but what it basically does is take the ical file of
sprints.kde.org as well as the ical file of a Google calendar and
display it. Is anyone willing and able to just hack up one page doing
exactly that and put it on kde.org?
It'd be great if we could give more exposure on kde.org to our
real-world meetups since they are a big part of what keeps our
community together.
