Dario,

while you are at it, please also check whether this bug also affects
outgoing mail when new accounts are created.  When I tried to create an
account at bugs.kde.org a few days ago (tried on two different days), I
never got the confirmation/ activation e-mail.  I only got the status
page that a mail for confirmation was sent, showing @ instead of @.
So _perhaps_ this @ is even going out to SMTP.

(Already reported to the kde-www mailinglist.  I explicitly whitelisted
kde.org in my spam filters, hence should receive mail from bugs.kde.org.)
