Hello,

if you already have a system with Ubuntu installed you can simply
install the package kubuntu-desktop. This will install the Kubuntu
packages you need and you will be able to choose KDE as a session when
logging in.

Be aware however, that hardy is quite old already and that you will
not be able to get the newest KDE versions for it.
