xml error in IE

Hello;

My IE browser at work (version 5.50) now gives the following error when
I try to browse to www.kde.org:

Invalid xml declaration. Line 1, Position 96 

<!-- including .//media/includes/i18n/en/root.inc and
.//media/includes/i18n/en/media.inc --><?xml version="1.0"
encoding="UTF-8"?>

It never used to do this!
