Looks like it is just like Acrobat Reader vs. Distiller ie. it allows you to 
view files created with their commercial product.

I don't think it really belongs in KDE (not that it is up to me) as KDE 
generally provides it's own frontends for applications and doesn't include 
3rd party software, plus it doesn't appear to be LGPL so it wouldn't get into 
CVS.

It seems more like something for the distro's to include and not KDE to me...
