I'm sorry, but I've been working most nights this week and I've been fairly 
exhausted and have had a back log of mail to get through.

The mailman reject idea is something I hadn't originally considered though I 
must admit that I'm not too keen on it: I'm on dialup and invariably read 
mail offline and by the time I've finished reading mail I have invariably 
forgotten about the mailman stuff that needs to be moderated.

I would much prefer something like Navindra's idea of /usr/bin/vacation. I 
don't know how you have qmail set up of course, but I also understand it's 
possible to do auto responds/forwards using a .qmailrc, so it would be idea 
if something like this could be set up please.
