We're by definition very liberal, and bumping the requirements only
when there is hard requirement.
In calligra/CMakeLists.txt for Calligra 2.9 Pre-Alpha it says:

find_package(KDE4 4.3.0 REQUIRED)

and for Qt:

find_package(Qt4 4.6.0 REQUIRED...

The newer, the better of course.
