Opening files from the Dolphin file browser on Windows 7

As a work around if I map the network drive to a drive letter using Windows
Explorer then I can open files just fine when Dolphin has the drive letter
open. It seems that this is a samba issue. Can someone confirm this problem
occurs for them?
