svn and line endings

This actually is wrong, too. We've fixed emerge so that when applying
patches it converts them automatically, and even git apply should be
called with the correct options to ignore that.

Damn we need to update our docs ;)

P.S.
To the best of my knowledge patch has been fixed upstream also but we
don't use a recent enough build of patch.exe
