+  <p>The KDE on Windows team is pleased to announce the release of Windows packages for the KDE Software Compilation 4.7.4.</p>
+  <p>Although still not considered stable and suitable for production work, this release brings to the table a lot of new improvements worth trying:
+    <ul>
+      <li>new releases for the IRC client Konversation, which is now available in version 1.4, the 1.1.1 release of the personal finance manager skrooge and some more applications</li>
+      <li>the first official release of Amarok on Windows in version 2.5 is delivered with the kdewin-installer now, after it has been released already as a standalone Installer some days ago.</li>
+      <li>as a technology preview, the speech recognition software simon has been included (only in 32 bit though).</li>

+  <p>Users can test this release by using the <a href="http://windows.kde.org/download.php">KDEWin Installer</a> to try out all the software available. Included in this release are kdebase (both the applications and the workspace), kdeedu, kdegames, kdegraphics, kdemultimedia, kdenetwork, kdesdk, kdetoys, kdeutils, and several stuff from extragear like amarok, digikam and kipi-plugins, kmymoney, konversation, kmid, kile and quassel.
