Hi,

since we ;-) decided at the meeting that we will support mingw-w64 in
the future for both 32 and 64 bits I am also subscribed to their mailing
list.
One of the issues with the current mingw compilers are the sizes of its
binaries and the missing possibility of splitting apart debugging
informations. Maybe these issues can be solved now:
