showstopper problem with kmail filenames with colons - file names that are not allowed on windows

My tests show, that KMail on Windows uses file names like that:

C:\Users\karolrvn\AppData\Roaming\.kde\share\apps\kmail\mail\inbox\cur\1261944476.1508.JrwZ7

And no files in 
c:\Users\karolrvn\AppData\Roaming\.kde\share\apps\kmail\
except "lock"
