Plasma on 4.1.96 [4.2RC] on Vista Home Basic

KDE 4.2.0 should be available on most mirrors, please choose it from the 
stable list.
Plasma starts fine for me in XP SP3, but I know of a friend of mine 
who's got problems with Vista. Did you do all the Windows updates?

An amarok developer suggested me to start amarok with amarok --debug to 
get more informations, maybe it works for plasma too (not sure, just 
blind guess)...
