new emerge functionality?

In response to your dbus-daemon question, dbus-daemon is a process that 
needs to run in the background for KDE apps to work. If I'm not behind 
the times here, I would like to request to the developers that 
dbus-daemon doesn't open a command prompt window when it executes :-)
