new emerge functionality?

Hi All,

Tried 'emerge kdeedu' from scratch overnight. Below is the end of the
output. It seems to try to run dbus-daemon - which fails on my machine in a
way similar to the way all applications fail: "This application has
requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way..." Anyway my
question is, why is emerge trying to start dbus-daemon?

It appears that the .exe files were created in kderoot/bin, and they still
cause "Runtime Error!" until I run 'emerge dbus-src', after which most of
them seem to work fine. If anyone else has seen this problem, could you
please contact me? Haven't had much time to play with this lately, but I
still want to solve the problem when I have time.

Thanks,
Clint
