Running KDE under Windows some problems

this is normal these applications does not produce any output. If you 
like to have debug output install the dbgview tool.

this looks at least partially be fixed in svn

will probably work with the next release or earlier if someone will make 
a patch for kdebase.

Please send me personally the content of the file kdewin-installer.log 
from the installer download dir, which is written each time the 
installer runs.

This is because in installers < 0.8.1 external installers are not marked 
after the installation in the database. This should be fixed now.
