Hi,

Because this is the kde-windows list and we're speaking about how we get
compile kdelibs under win32 I thought it would be a good idea to point
to a patch which adds additional compiler support to the gpl'd Qt4/win
version:

http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=360271

This patch is fully compatible and mostly written by Andreas Hausladen
and me. We used the project generators from Qt3 and modified them to
suit to the new requirements. With this patch you're able to try to
compile kdelibs with the free available msvc8 prerelease compiler
(http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express/)

Thanx to Andreas Hausladen this patch also adds compiler suupport for
borland which isn't even available in the official qt4/win commercial
edition.
