IMO, this is more a thing of "expected behaviour". After we have 
"modes", no one expects to have
trigonometric and bit edit on the same place, as both do not fit together.

Well, the other thing is, that one cannot reproduce the bug anymore. So, 
we can close this after applying the patch. :-)
