No need, I could do that as well, and so I did:
https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?product=ktimer
Can I assign the Initial owner of reports now to you? What is your account
address on bugs.kde.org?

It looks well ported, too sad, really hard to find work for you :)
But I found: There are no tooltips and Whatsthis'. You could earn your
maintainer status by creating some patches which add those. Writing a manual
would be good as well,.like you said.

Random thought: I would like to have some predefined, user editable actions,
kind of services. But do not ask me which. I cannot remember the need for any
time based actions right now. If I will, well there is now an entry at
bugs.kde.org ;)
So, start the maintainership overtake process and sent in some patches for
e.g. tooltips and whatsthis, please :)
Cheers
Friedrich
