Well, I just noted it there in time so this feature is not stopped by the soft 
feature freeze and somebody could do it.

But then still nobody was doing it...

So far any progress is still stopped by the fact that the toplevel menubar is 
not signalled as a new window, and the reason for this is yet to be found.
