Interesting idea - there's no added dbus traffic we share factories now. Just an extra model in memory. The hard part is if we think we're in kpeople mode and have the old model; if you perform any of the actions it will probably crash. I doubt we would check for model roles not being there. I guess we /could/ guard everything.
