When I first started writing this I was thinking "how on Earth did

Speaking for me as a developer, if someone tells me something in an
email/IRC/real life I forget within a few hours. Not out of rudeness,
or spite, just pure absent mindedness.

If in doubt, always file a bug, we can always close them.
