You have git commit --author "Name <email>" and it's one patch, the one in this review. We do this all the time...
And even if he would learn how to use git, which no doubt he should, he still don't have KDE git account and would have to apply for one and git accounts are not given for one (rather simple) patch, so he won't be able to commit it anyway. Not sooner than a month anyway...
