Not true, if we have an invalid email address (i.e. not a real mailing
list) as the default assignee in bugzilla and we all "follow" this
email address from bugzilla, then bugzilla will only send emails to
everybody just once, as it is clever enough to know which persons are
in CC and which persons follow the default assignee.

Fwiw, I still don't care about this, gmail never shows me duplicate
emails + proper filtering solves the thread separation from the
bugzilla crap. However, I am not going to stop anybody from doing
this. If you want it, go for it.
