I discourage this actually. Keeping a C++ backend is VERY useful and let's you 
manage to do quite about anything.
Porting the whole plasmoid to 100% QML (assuming you want to use dataengines?) 
is a pain (as proven last summer) as it's slower and you depend on another 
component to work
