GSoC Project: Multi-Player gaming in KDE games

Hi,

I'm an undergraduate student from India and interested in doing the GSoC
project "Multi-Player gaming in KDE games". I've been using KDE since over a
year now and have been exploring the trunk since about 6 months.
Multi-player gaming in KDE games is a feature that I had been waiting for
for long. So now that I have the opportunity, I want to implement it myself.
I have some experience implementing custom gaming protocols over TCP, but I
have no experience with Telepathy. Could anyone guide me with a kick start?
Also, where I can find the relevant codes?

I'm really looking forward to this project as it has been on my personal
"features wanted" list.
