Haven't you already filed 2 bug reports about sounds in KTp?

My answer will be the same.
We use the "correct" file from the sound theme, which is shared in multiple
apps. 

If you have any issues with the default KDE sound theme, please file a bug
under the product "artwork" for the team who make the sound theme.
