I just tried Pidgin 2.10.6 (libpurple 2.10.6) and it worked. Then I installed
Empathy 3.4.2.3 which imported the connections known to work from pidgin and
got me the same network error for all Jabber connections. So at least it seems
it is not the fault of KTP.
