It was talked about in the KTp meeting that you were at :)

Rationale was (I think): A button in the contact-list (even in the main menu
not just the context menu) seems a place where a user is more likely to find
the logs than making it look completely separate.

I'm happy to have this topic of discussion reopened if you disagree.
