[kde-solaris] KDE 3.1.1 not linked with OpenSSL

hello,

I installed KDE 3.1.1 from the Solaris 9 Companion CD & am running it on 
Solaris 9 Sparc.

When I try to access https sites with Konqueror, they do not load properly 
and I now notice in Crypto tab of Konqueror settings the error message "SSL 
ciphers cannot be configured because this module was not linked with 
OpenSSL"
I do have OpenSSL installed as well as the executables and libraries in my 
PATH & LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

How do I rectify this?
