[kde-solaris] KDE HTML problem ?

Hi,
	I am trying to build KDE 3.2.2 from source using Stefan's patches
and Forte 7, mainly so I can add some local mods to konqueror to cope with
offline files on our HSM system.  

So far I have arts, kdelibs and kdebase built.  KDE starts up fine, splash
screen backgrounds, sound all O.K.. konsole, kate, control panel all work
fine.  However the HTML display doesn't seem to, if I run khelpcenter, the
app comes up O.K., it has the contents and glossary on the left with icons,
but the text is pretty much just that, text, no formatting, it does have one
image stuck awkwardly in the middle.  The same goes for konqueror, perfect
display on folders, HTML unformatted.  Does anybody have any clues as to
what might have gone wrong ?

On a possibly related issue, I am also getting almost no debug information
out from  KDE, I have modified the $HOME/.kde/share/kdebugrc file but it
doesn't seem to make any difference.
