Try running:
# find / -name libXrender -print
That should show you where your
libXrender is on your system.
- if you have it?
Then make sure the directory
where it resides is in your
LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment
varaiable.
That library is most likely
to be found among the rest of
your X-window libraries.
On a Solaris 7 system with
Xrender support (not part
of that system by default)
the lib might be found in
'/usr/X/lib'. If you have
such a directory in Solaris 9,
take a look there (alternative-
ly in '/usr/X11/lib').
An other location you might
check is '/usr/local/lib'.
If you can't find it anywhere,
run:
% pkginfo | grep 'X Window'
to see which X Window pkgs
you have installed.
Also see 'man pkgchk' to make
sure they are all accurate.
If they are, you might be
missing some X Window pkg.
Probably named something
like 'SUNWxw???'
I don't have a Solaris 9
system accessible so this
is unfortunately all I
can do for you. Hopefully
someone with a Solaris 9
system can help if this
should not be sufficient.
Hope this helps!
Regards / Rolf
