[kde-solaris] xft2 fontconfig ... solaris 9

Folks,

I have found two interesting problems.

I have compiled kde 3.1.2 with fontconfig/render/xft for solaris 8

This works nice and I get beautiful fonts.

But, there are two problems:

a) When running on an xserver which DOES NOT have a colormapped
   visual (eg a blade 100 without creator) the programs do not
   work, they segfaults.

b) When running such a program on Solaris 9 with the latest XServer
   patches applied I have render extensions in the xserver.  There
   the effect is, that most of the characters in the interfaces
   disappear.

I guess a) has todo with qts xft support ... Because when kde is
compiled without qt/xft all works fine

Problem b) seems to be related to the way qt deals with render
extensions. Because gtk-demo compiled against the same xft2 release
works just fine, both on sol8 with an old xserver and on sol9 with
the render xserver.
