It seems like a lot, but you'll have to see that linux distributions
contain most of that stuff by default while Solaris doesn't. As long as
the user has kind of a choice and the depend file of pkg is used in a
supporting way, I don't think there is a reason to keep all the nice
features away from the user. Splitting up the required stuff in smaller
packages would make things a little bit easier I think.
