Hello GSoC accepted students, you are being "mass added" to the student
list. Please stay subscribed and read your mail from this list. We (the
admins) will not be mailing you individually with important information;
this list is critical.

That said, if you need to contact the admins privately, please write to
kde-soc-management at kde.org. We'll do our best to help you out.

If your fellow students ask for help here, please lend a hand. The KDE
community works because people step up and do what needs to be done. We
want you to be an active part of the community.

Besides the KDE-devel ML, which most of you have probably already
subscribed to, you may wish to join the KDE-Community list as well. There
you will find out about how to attend Akademy this September, and how to
apply for travel funding. We'd love to meet you there!

However, now is the time to ensure that your blog is working, and that you
have added it to KDEplanet. Spend your time getting acquainted with the
codebase you'll be working with, sketch out the outlines of your
documentation, and as you do your research, begin writing unit tests. These
best practices help you lock in your timeline, and let you start coding
fully confident of your direction.

This is the bonding period, so let's bond!

All the best,

Valorie, for the KDE GSoC admin team
