GSoC students, how are you doing?

Have you all got good lines of communication going with your mentor,
and your larger team? Are you now familiar with Phabricator, the
wikis, how to use your development mail list? Is your blog appearing
in KDE planet?

I've looked at the https://community.kde.org/GSoC/2018/StatusReports
and see far too many red links, which means you have not begun your
report page. Now is the time to begin linking all your Phab links,
your blog posts, and anything else you want to show off as you
progress towards your final successful completion.

Evaluations are June 11 - 15, 2018. Of course we need to see your good
quality code, including unit tests! However, even more important than
that is your communication with your mentor and team. This is your
prime responsibility. If you have having difficulties, ASK FOR HELP,
now. Do not wait, do not suffer in silence! If your mentor and team
aren't helping you, write *now* to kde-soc-management at kde.org which is
completely confidential.

We want you all to pass your first evaluation. Please help us help you do that.

All the best,

Valorie, for the KDE Soc management team
