feedback about GSoC student groups

Heya folks :)

as you might remember we tried to form groups of 3 GSoC students this
year for the first time. The intention was to make the start of the
program a bit easier and have a few more people you can go to to ask
"stupid" questions if needed. I'd like to have some feedback about
this from you. Was it useful? Should we do it again? If yes, should we
change something?
