Hello,

I'm working on the wrap-up report for Google Summer of Code and Summer
of KDE projects. While many of you have provided information that can
be used to create this report, we still need your help. The final
report is important; it's part of the training you get by
participating. Don't stop now. Please help us tell your stories.

The final report plays an important part in getting people involved in
the future. Reading your report may motivate someone to apply, and
then create something great for KDE. Hearing about the results
produced by the programs also motivates the people who manage the
programs and the projects involved. By working on your project and
then telling about it, the entire KDE community benefits. Your work
and your final report make a difference beyond just yourself. As
Daniel Moctezuma wrote, "All the work done by students in GSoC/SoK
will have an impact in Free Software and the world."

Here's the situation:
- Some people have provided almost nothing. Almost everyone did the
work; everyone who did should get credit and be recognized. Just
listing someone's name in the wrap-up report will be lame.
- Some have provided links to other webpages with too much information
for writing the wrap-up. In this case, someone who is not acquainted
with your project would have to go through what you have written and
select what's important.

The information below is needed. Make it simple; it should take 10
minutes or less for you to pull together the right level of detail.
The wiki page at http://community.kde.org/GSoC/2011/StatusReports has
been updated with this information.

Review your entry
Your Name (please make sure that it is correct.)
Project Name: (Link to your project home page)
A _Brief_ Description (such as you would tell someone who is not
highly technical)
Goal (or aim, objective...the title doesn't matter. What did you set
out to accomplish?)
Result (What did you actually accomplish, project status, how well did
you achieve your goal?)
The best thing about GSoC or SoK for you
What did you learn (the most important thing)
Screenshot (If appropriate; 100 ppi)
Link (Blog/Mailing List Archive): (Add more than one link if you want)

If your entry is not complete with the above, please add it. If you
have already provided information in the format requested above, a big
Thank You!

You don't have to worry about grammar, spelling, punctuation. What is
needed from you are the facts of your project. Someone else will pull
together all the individual reports, edit and review. Keep going even
if you think you don't write English good enough...it doesn't matter.

The information on the wiki as of 14 September is what will be used to
create the wrap-up report. It's important that your information is
included.

If you have questions, please work with your mentor or email me.

Thank you
Carl
