windows and workspaces

Hello,

I'm working on allowing individual running applications to be assigned
to a session, so that those apps can later be restored to the state
they're in now.

Could some one please point me to the code that is responsible for the
"middle click menu" on the desktop, that displays the current
applications and which workspace they are assigned to?
