I remembered that while writing the email after that one. nobody's gotten 
around to doing it yet.

that's not what I was suggesting at *all*. o.0
I was saying that if the git module is called "amarok", then the pot will be 
called desktop_amarok.pot instead of desktop_extragear-multimedia_amarok.pot 
and the old desktop_extragear-multimedia_amarok.pot would hang around at least 
as long as amarok is in svn.

and by the time I finished the patch it didn't matter any more anyways.
