Entirely possible, not disproving you here.

Now, can people please move this discussion to kde-core-devel or somesuch? I 
think its entirely unfair to decide on such a fundamental change away from 
what has been the KDE way for many years without a much broader consensus.

In fact, its just Ossi that has this view, isn't it?
