using GUI testing to repair bugs

Hello,

Is there a GUI tests repository?
For example if I find a bug and record it using Squish (for KDE), can I
publish it to a repository? Or attach it to a specific bug report in
http://bugs.kde.org?

Will the developers be able to use the script reproducing the bug to solve
it easier?
Can one bug tester reuse such tests? Can versioning tests improve the rate
of finding bugs?

Corollary: If the answer to the above question/s is `no`:
GUI testing is a pretty powerful tool in proprietary software companies, why
is it not in the KDE project?

Bye,
Bogdan
