Sounds good.

I'd suggest as next steps: 
- Clean up quality.kde.org and point the "iwannahelp" case to howtohelp,
- at the same time give the howtohelp list some exposure, so there actually 
  are people dealing with the incoming requests for handholding
- redirect people from here with a pointer to the above to the relevant 
  mailinglist: howtohelp, kde-usability, /dev/null and so on
