Because it's the *wrong list* for this discussion. Not because long 
discussions are inherently useless (though it suggests that there's not 
enough substantial evidence to come to a conclusion) but because this list is 
about getting started and finding entry points in KDE, not about specifically 
tweaking GUI options.

That is where such a discussion might do some good. It also helps to have 
people in the discussion who are actually going to write code or draw icons, 
since that means that there's a chance of getting then conclusions 
implemented.

If there is no substantial (ie. measured, non-guesswork, non-opinion) evidence 
then there is not much to decide, is there?
