KDE, Search and Beagle?

Hi, I know some work is being done to improve search functionality in
KDE. However, until this happens I have installed Beagle, Kerry Beagle,
and Beagle Kio-Slave on my Debian Sid system and overall they work very
nicely.

Nonetheless I am still not quite satisfied and am looking for advice on
how to implement what I hope will be a simple hack. (Although given my
experience of computers in general, nothing is ever that simple).

What I want to do now that I can search with beagle kio-slave from
within any KDE window is essentially to change the command in the "Tools
-> Find File" Konqueror window so that it opens a beagle kio slave
window (preferably within the same Window) instead of using the default
command - which appears to essentially be to open Konqueror's own
inbuilt version of Kfind.

I have already achieved this very simply using a desktop entry file
using the following syntax:

[Desktop Entry]
Icon=kfind
Name=kfind
Name[en_US]=kfind
Type=Link
URL=beagle:

And this is essentially what I would like to achieve when I click on the
"Tools -> Find File" menu entry in Konqueror.

Can this be done - and if so how?

Later for the sake of consistency I would like to replace the word
"beagle:" in the Konqueror address bar with the word "search:", since it
is my contention that any new user confronted with the search term
beagle: in a search window would be likely to be confused by it, because
it bares no direct relation to the actual act of searching. (Although I
suspect i will have to try to contact the original author of beagle
kio-slave to learn how to do this).

In the mean time any help or assistance anyone can offer would be very
much appreciated.

GJ
